A Photographer
I keep saying I'm not a professional photographer. And I must admit I am a long way from being a good professional photographer. But since I take the majority of the pictures for WinnsboroToday.com I guess I am a professional.
Plus, I can hardly pass up an opportunity to take a picture of our animals or some flowers. If I stop what I am doing so I can get this kind of shot, I guess that must mean I am a photograper. :-)

You take some wonderful photos, Maryann. I'm quite impressed. And I loved the story about the tea party. I like the angle of why they picked the particular hats they wear, especially the lady who uses hers to cover her "helmet hair." Too funny.
Thanks, LuAnn. I guess I have to start thinking of myself as a photographer. Feels weird. :-)
I remember when the owner of WinnsboroToday.com first hired me to cover stories and handed me the camera, I just stared at him. When I worked for bigger publications in the Dallas area, I always had a photographer who went with me, so I was the writer, someone else was the photographer. I liked it that way for all those years. :-)
Beautiful roses. Are they yours? Do you use a fancy digital with one of those huge lenses attached? I've always wanted one of those. Mind you, I wouldn't have a clue what to do with it.

LOL, Helen. I wish I had a fancy digital with all the bells and whistles. I have a basic Canon Powershot that belongs to WinnsboroToday.com.
And, yes, the roses are mine. Growing happily with some compost made of coffee grounds, eggshells, manure and old hay.
Just beautiful!
You should set up a gallery and sell!
